Information about the total number of prints may vary because some artists have made two or more smaller editions which are then distributed between all of the portfolios so that each portfolio contains only one print by each individual artist. Detailed information about separate editions for every artist who is represented in this way can be found under “Further Information.”
Printmaking Techniques (Chronology):
All of the prints which were published are referenced on the chart below, including the extra prints which were distributed with the signed editions from 1877-1955, as well as any other occasional extra prints and the prints which were bound in some editions of the annual pamphlet called Meddelanden från Föreningen för Grafisk Konst, etc.
The different techniques are listed in the order in which they first appeared in FfGK’s portfolios. When an artist has used two or more techniques to create a print then all of these techniques are listed. When an artist has made two or more different print editions then only the techniques used for one of the editions is listed, since one of the prerequisites for an artist to make several different editions is that the same technique or techniques are used to create prints which are variations on a particular theme.
